arredondoFirst and foremost, I wish to thank the brave soldiers who executed the attack which led to the death of Osama Bin Laden.
Many thanks to the military and intelligence leadership that located bin Laden and planned the attack. Thanks, and a job “well done,” to President Barack Obama for authorizing the attack and sparing no effort to keep America and all Americans safe from attack. Many thanks also to former President George W. Bush and his administration for their efforts to apprehend Bin Laden in the aftermath of the 9/11 attack on America by the forces of al-Qaida.

The hallmark of the Bush administration was that for eight years, there were no attacks on the American homeland, due to the efforts of the intelligence agencies and our armed forces. Indeed, President Obama has followed many of President Bush’s policies including the maintenance of Guantanamo as a prison for terrorists and a source for needed information.

This is an American victory as well as a victory for all human beings who renounce the use of terrorism. All credit first and foremost rests with the brave soldiers who conducted this mission.

By no means is this the end of terrorism aimed at America. With or without Bin Laden’s leadership, others will try unceasingly to kill and destroy America.
